The farmers’ and craft market takes place every second Sunday of the month at Plaza del Rosario between the church and the town hall in Barlovento. From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, local producers and artisans present their products here in an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. Each edition of the market is dedicated to a traditional product theme, such as gofio, corn, wine or potatoes, and offers visitors corresponding regional specialties and handcrafted goods. At the market, you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, mojo sauces, goat cheese, honey, wine, yams, handmade ceramics, textiles and other crafts directly from the producers. The lively market atmosphere makes the visit a truly local experience: in addition to the stalls, music, activities and tastings often create a special ambiance and invite both locals and visitors to linger.
