About us

The Maroparque on La Palma is a popular excursion destination for families and animal lovers. This unique animal and rescue park in Breña Alta is home to numerous exotic animals such as parrots, kangaroos, crocodiles, and monkeys. Visitors can experience the only “vertical zoo” in the Canary Islands, surrounded by tropical vegetation and offering magnificent views of Santa Cruz de La Palma and the Atlantic Ocean. The walk-through aviaries and the park’s natural design are especially popular attractions. Maroparque is open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and is ideal for a day trip on La Palma.
